Performance of Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Slovakia for Q1 2022

In the first quarter of 2022, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Slovakia exhibited diverse performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics for these apps.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 1K in early January and peaking at approximately 1.7K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users, however, showed a slight decline from around 26K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 19K by the end.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a relatively stable number of weekly downloads, fluctuating between 250 and 400 throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users remained consistent, hovering around 18K to 19K during the three-month period.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced gradual growth in weekly downloads, starting from around 180 in late December and reaching nearly 300 by the end of March. The app's weekly active users also increased modestly, rising from approximately 1K to 1.1K over the quarter.

Careem – rides, food & more had a stable performance in terms of weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 70 to 100. Its weekly active users showed a small but steady increase, moving from around 130 to 160 by the end of March.

Cabify saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from just 13 in late December and reaching 62 by the end of March. The app's weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, increasing from approximately 60 to 120 during the quarter.
